Hey Jim Thanks I had a better day with those settings and for the first time with the Explorer I knew I had a coin before I dug it. It was only a 1700 Copper penny but the joy was knowing it was a coin.
Although I have had no problem with the accuracy of the pinpoint, I have noticed on occassions not all the time that the pinpoint tone is sometimes chattery, I thought it may have been the sensitivity so I backed it off but it did'nt seem to make any difference. Have you ever come by this one ?
Thanks for making Day 3 a bit better for me...
