Thanks for your prayers everybody! (long)

Brian is doing great, not really in any pain just a little bit inconvenienced because of the cast. In a couple of days he'll be up and about like normal.

I accepted a position with a mortgage company today as a loan officer. The home office still has to do a background check, they've already done one locally, but they ordered my business cards and shirts with the company logo. I'll be able to do mortgages in 40 states! Anybody need a loan or refinanced? It's commission only so please pray hard on this one!!! Just kidding, I know the Lord will meet our needs.

Please pray for my friend whose wife got into a little trouble. They are doing OK but for this to happen before Christmas made life extremely stressful for them. He is a new friend and brother in Christ that I met back in early December. When he met Brian for the first time he asked him who his favorite football player was, Peyton Manning of course, and he surprised us tonight by bringing Brian a signed and numbered print of Peyton Manning when he was the QB at UT. Of course that made Brian's day!

Please pray for Carols brother, Ken, and his 3 kids. He is going through a heated divorce and has custody of the kids. He has tried to reconcile the marriage but she doesn't want to. Please pray for her too as she seems to have turned her back on Christ during all of this.
Ken's relationship with Christ has grown stronger and truly seems like a different person now so pray he continues to fight the good fight and not falter.

the wife will come to her senses and stop the divorce before the children are hurt too much....it's always the hardest on them! Either we grow closer to the Lord or we blame Him for what is happening in our life. Praise God that Ken is drawing closer in his and the children's time of need for guidance and comfort! Whatever happens with the marriage may he keep faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior! May your new friend and his wife also reach out to Jesus and draw closer to Him! He's the only way to have peace for true happiness!

My prayers are with you concerning the job and with your leaning on and trusting in Jesus He will guide and teach you what you need to say and do for sales with godly wisdom! He meets our every need!
