I recieved Andys book a couple of weeks ago. I read through it it it has made a HUGE difference in the the way I detect and look and listen to what the detector is telling me. Taking it out of Quikstart was one of the first things I did. I used a couple of Mikes technigues as well. In the picture you see a nail. this nail was in the exact same hole as one of the pennies. Not a huge find but I never pulled a coin out of a hole with trash before reading the book. The copper cap rang just like a silver dime and after pulling about 5 of these out of the groud about 2 feet from the school building I decided to move out to about 5 feet. Thats were I plugged the 1960 Roosevelt:clapping: I pulled a 1957 wheat also. I only had about 2 hours to hunt but am looking forward to uning the references in this book again soon.

His book is a great tool for us new Explorer users thats for sure. I have read it over and over and keep learning new things. Andy did a great job with this book.

Andy's book is an absolute must have for any Explorer user.

The book is a compilation of tips and techniques from a number of very talented hunters from around the world . . . . their input is what made the book what it has become (and the newest one on the Quattro and Safari based on the feedback it's garnered).

If anyone has any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM or give me a call . . . . always glad to try and help

Good hunting!
