Thanks Dig for the Encouragement - gold and silver

Thanks Dig ...

Went out with the Sea Hunter this past week at Flagler Beach and found this silver ring in wet sand about 5" down. Today I went to a beach in Ponte Vedra and after picking through the tent pegs and few coins and a lot of rust hit this nice man's 14k wedding ring in the wet sand. My first gold ring with the Sea Hunter! The weather has been beautiful at 74-80 degrees with fair skies. I had a bit of an audience while digging today since the beach front is very limited

I have read and taken notes from Dig and the others on here and have learned a lot of information in a short period of time. Dig... every time I see you posting there is another ring for your treasure chest.... a great inspiration for us new wet sand scanners. Once again thanks for the tip and pics! Let's hope the summer of 2011 will be a great year for treasures. HH EZ

Hey man! Congratulations on your two ring day! Fantastic work. That's one of the reasons the forums are so great. We can all express our opinion about what works and celebrate each others succeses. When I got going in water hunting these forums (and some of my excellent friends on here) were the reason I met with success. I always feel it's important to be as helpful as possible to repay the kindness of all the senior posters on here. I'm glad I could help you but you found the treasure pards! I hope you get 100 more in your scoop this summer! Keep up the great work.

Ther best part is the words he sent back were meant. I, like you have learned and still learn from Dig and others. Believe me he is just as excited about your find as his.

I second what was said about Dig.... great guy with a wealth of info and he knows his equipment and location. Hes like me in that hes not afraid to share what hes learned. How can anyone promote this hobby without helping the new members? Its not about MINE MINE MINE. I enjoy hunting with others and dont mind sharing locations and information about my area when hunting. I like seeing the finds.
