I received the Pirate Detector yesterday....... and got to try it out today. d2 and I went to one of the swimmin holes we've been hunting ...... and it is quite a sensitive little machine. I'll have to learn its nuances and how to set the discrimination level to the way I hunt, but I can already tell I'm gonna enjoy it. I like the stainless steel scoop as well.

The 8+ inches of rain we got late last week has the river up a couple of feet, but it's gonna fall out soon!
