Thanking about getting a Tejon

Johnny

New member
I have been thanking about getting a Tejon , I have used a detector before, is that a good one and what can I get a dime at ( depth ). I have allways used a Fisher. Thanks

Hi Johnny and great to meet you. In my opinion the Tejon is a super detector. It is very easy to GB and setup. Having dual discriminators is pretty keen. Without a doubt I would recommend it. Since you have detected before I don't think it will be a big deal. But I would go to your local Tesoro dealer and at least hold it and get a feel for it and even give it a tryout and see if it would be the one you would want. The Vaquero is a great detector too but I like the Tejon even more. Also the Lobo Supertraq is something to consider since it has auto ground balance and it is very sensitive and has good depth. So if you can get to a Tesoro dealer and try out several models I would do that to be sure and get the one you truly would be happy with. Tesoro dealers always want to make sure that they have satisfied and happy customers Johnny. So if I can be of any help give a holler. God Bless you and welcome to Tesoro country!

Thanks chief. Diggercoins67 here
And Johnny I have told this story befor. I have a 1899 dime in the
ground at a depht of 8". A buddy of mine has a elliptical 10" coil
on his garrett . not to bash the garret. thay are good detectors.
My Tejon gives a good unbroken sound on it. and my buddy cant even
hear it. But that may be because of his coil. HH Don
