Well I hit one of my old lakes today and I sure wasn't disappointed. it was 104 miles one way but it was worth the trip. On the drop off I got the 4 silver Washington's and 2 of the silver dimes in the muck. The are caked with crud. In the sand I found the nicer 1948 Rosey and the 1928 buffalo. I got a high tone on the edge of the drop off. as I was fanning my hand the pile of GOLD showed up!!! 15,4 grams of 14K!! Beautiful chain made in Italy. LOL I did get a Lincoln cent also!!

Caravelle waterproof watch, LOL drowned, another old watch, a rusted pocket knife and a very handy Gerber stainless multi purpose tool 1985 Kennedy half, 25 other quarters, 21 other dimes, 12 nickels, 30 pennies and a small virgin Mary medal were my other good finds.

SD you hit the honey hole for sure! I think you covered your expenses with that haul !

Very nice collection of finds. Congrats on the gold.

After that recovery the lake level must have dropped a bit !
Super finds !

Gold chain as of yesterday was worth 460.00. I get spot - 2%. I have a drawer FULL of watches. One day will take a picture of it. I have two running Swiss Army watches in it and a lot of other running ones. And a lot of drowned ones. Yes it was a great day to drive that far.

Chain is 24 inches long. Love it!! Must have been wet still, I lost a 10th of a gram!!
