I want to take this time to thank all who have got out of their way to help me and give me advice as I continue to learn this great maching. From Nancy, Joel, Aarong81, Larry, and all the others.

To this day only going out a handful of times I have found about $14 in clad, 1 silver bracelet, 1 silver toe ring, 1 silver ring, and a 1943 war nickel.

Thank you. God bless you.

You had some really good hunts so far! And we all enjoy helping each other when we are stuck indoors and not out detecting. Seeing someone elses finds is second best thing compared to getting to find them for ourselves. :)

The odds of finding a silver war nickel is really stacked against you considering a lot of nickel signals get skipped, most of the ones that are not skipped are pull-tabs, half of the rest are not nickels either, of the nickels found only a very few could even possibly be from those 3 years. Most of these were pulled from circulation due to the silver in them and having the large mint mark to aid in banks identifying them easily to be pulled. I have found one myself on a quick 30min hunt and don't hold my breath that I'll ever find another one.

Send of of that Florida heat up my way, will ya!? I went out today in 22 degrees and added a HARD EARNED '44 wheat cent and a Missouri tax token to my finds. :)

It's great guys like you that make this forum such a success. Thank you and you've found quite a lot for your few times out. Thank you to all and HH, Nancy
