Thank you Garrett for building a amphibious machine that a working man can afford!

One that I don't have to mortgage the house or sale my kidney, but like the ole saying goes " imatation is the biggest form of flattery" Garrett still keeps setting the pace, love my Atpro even more!

I'll second that HH

Some newer and current detectors are costing around $2,000.00. Are you getting much more depth? No!
Are you getting new technology? Not necessarily.
Are they getting lighter? No....some even weigh more.
Are they made in North America? The newest batch aren't. If we buy local, we save jobs and the economy.
Are the accessories affordable? Check out the price for the coils and see for yourself.

Bottom line.....spending 4 x the price does not get you 4 x the detector. It doesn't even come close to it.

Garrett Rocks! :super:

I'll second that! HH

Even Mitt Romney opted out of the new detector purchase saying and I quote" golly gee weez folks that's pricey as heck" end quote ! But he's wife bought one .

Yeah that might be why he is rich. The love of money above all else.I just want a hobby I can afford and allowed to do.HH
