......I developed a GREAT close friendship with a man when I worked with him at the place that closed down recently.He had left a few years before the Co. closed,and we have maintained a close relationship-As a matter of fact;he was the one that went with me when I hunted for a ring a fellow woman church congregation member lost -WE FOUND IT!!!
ANYWAY,this friend of mine has heard the Gospel from me;he knows where I stand on the issue. A few weeks ago,he called me and said he had inside info the Co. he now worked for was going to be hiring-3 positions opening up;and he'd call when it was confirmed.............WELL,GUESS WHEN HE CALLED MY HOUSE???When I was camping at that beach club-Called the day I left,as a matter of fact;Friday.I called my wife Sunday,she told me he'd called-SO:I got ahold of him,found out the only day they were taking apps was this last Tuesday,7-3PM......SO:I packed up my campsite 2 days early,Tuesday Morning off I went-Got to my friend's Co.and PUT'ER IN!!!!!!I called this morning,they said they got only 24 apps being that it wasnt made public;and they will be calling ALL the applicants for interviews in 1-2 weeks!!!!Now,this is a good Co. to work for,according to my friend-Good wages,benifits,etc-And thanks to my good friend,Ive got a good chance of getting in!!!MORAL TO THIS IS:If you have good friends,DONT take them for granted-What goes around;comes around......As a matter of fact,when I thanked him for what he'd done,he said"HEY!!!What are friends for"????INDEED.Prayers,please-That I get one of these job positions,and prayers of thanks for my great friend;LARRY!!!
