Very nice Rob. Thanks for getting the finds posted so quickly. When you come back, why don't you bring some of that warm weather with you? The windchill is 12 now and to get much colder as night falls.
What a terrible shame for what humans are doing to this space we call Mother Earth. It's sad when we (metal detectorists.....(my new word)) come across all this trash that others have left and then we throw it in the garbage where it should have been in the first place, we are the ones that get yelled at for destroying property. We are not the destroyers. That's why we need to help others to learn the right way of retrieving objects so us metal detectorists can be a positive effect to our community. People are amazed at the filled 5 gallon buckets in the back of Larry's truck that we use to throw our trash away when done metal detecting. Larry and I are honored in our local community. We have earned their trust and recognition. It's just so sad what others do. I'm stepping off my soap box. Sorry, but I needed to say that.
Thanks for the Texas report Rob, Have fun and be careful down there, Nancy
