Going to test the round 7 inch coil, have not tried a concentric coil in years but I do remember how they work and why this may be a sweet coil for all of my hunting except maybe the 5"....the DD are like a windshield wiper blade cover more area and have good depth but the concentric is like a V so the deeper it goes the less area it covers but also should be fast in dirty ground. Also if I have the time I will be trying the deep mode and the all metal with using the disc as a way to tell me when I hit iron with a grunt but from what I understand you don't lose any depth....have an area I have hit for over ten years and wonder what may still be hiding where a machine like the impact may do a better job than the deus. Will also use the 20 freq and see how that works..I'll do a video and post a photo if I find anything...the ground should be perfect after the rain we had last weekend in the gold country of Calif....

Think what the Impact has going for it that it works in many environments with excellent target ID's capability and the ability to locate more items at places already hunted is the software programing.
I believe they have used coins from over 30 countries. The 5" coil size is a bit small for me which I have one on another detector, the 7" round coil on the Impact is just the right size. Interesting to see how you make out.
Think I found the 7" lost about 1" over the 5x9DD coil in areas I have hunted using both coils.
