Tested an SEF 10x12 on my GB PRO.......

Not impressed.....definately not worth the chance IMHO. Was atleast an inch less in air testing on coin size targets and on small buttons a loss of 2".

I wanted to see for myself how it would compare to the 11" greek coil...I had no expectations just pure curiosity. Maybe one is a little hotter than another but I would not suggest risking the cost of one and hope.

The 10x12 does not provide any real gains in coverage over the stock 11" DD and I have tested them on the F75 in the past...maybe a slight gain if you stare at the results just right and skew them with the bias that you just spent $170.00.

They are a tad quieter on both the F75 and the GB PRO/SE but since the GB is so quiet...no gains.

Honestly I see people make wonderous claims on the SEF coils...I have owned 5 for a variety of machines and honestly I think there is more hype than hunt. Exceptions are for SEF coils in a size your manufacturer does not make..like the small butterfly coil....o.k....that was fine but nothing impressive.

So would I suggest trying an SEF coil on a Bug or a G2....nope. I would wait until a larger coil is made for either the Bugs or the Greek series Tek machines in a DD format.

Of course you can waste your money as you see fit...or risk it...either way...does not affect me. Of course the 12x15 may be a bit better but it has to make up the loss the 10x12 did just to break even and then gain atleast an inch over that to make it worth while. So I don't see that coil gaining 3-4" over the 10x12 which it would need to do to improve on the 11" greek.
