I had the coil waiting for the 250 because i ordered the coil and sold the 250 in germany while i was visiting my daughter.
So i had to order me a new 250 that showed up today.I put the 4.5 sniper coil on it and did some testing in my backyard with it.It hit the dime that is 4 " in the ground and i was able to raise the coil two more inches.I got a nice belltone and target id was jumping from dime to 1$.I had sensitivity at max. without problems.Pinpointing is great with that little coil. You guys know that i am a big fan of these small coils and have one for my GTAx1250 too. That coil is a must have to hunt around old houses where the coins a mixed in with trash.
I will compare the 1250 with 4,5 coil and the 250 with 4.5 coil in the next days.
I have a question now: Did Garrett improve the pinpointing mode on the Ace 250 ? I have the feeling that the pinpointing on my new Ace 250 works better than on the first one i had.
