Test Plot

Has anyone tried watering their test plot with a little salt water to hasten the aging process?

From reading different articles it sounds like it takes several months for the buried items to accurately depict the real world.

I suspect this is due to to interaction between the soil acidity or alkalinity and the metal.

Has anyone ever tried hastening that action with a little vinegar/lye/ or salt?

If so what were you successful?

I am aware of that. I was actually planning to try that on mine....which is several years old. I want to do a before and after trial test.

Thanks for reminding me :)

I think my next hunt is gonna be in Johns backyard!

I still gotta find his house and avoid his security. I probably won't be asking for owner's permission to hunt there.
