Test Picture using new editing software...........

Kelley (Texas)

New member
Approximately two months ago, I purchased Perfect Photo Suite 9 editing software. It has been a nightmare getting it up and running because I had to update my old Made in China computer with more Ram memory, new Video Card, and power supply. Unfortunately, I still have a few "bugs" and it is not up and running 100% yet.

While awaiting a few thunderstorms heading our way, I decided to play around with this new software and edit an older picture. This is a picture of some Texas acorns that I took a few months ago. I believe this new edited picture is acceptable. This new software will be fun to use once I get it working 100%. Kelley (Texas) :)

I hear the Perfect Photo Suite from On1 is great software. I'm on their mailing list and get all the propaganda and sales brochures....have been wanting to try it. Please let us know what you think about it as you go along.

if it will work OK on your computer before purchasing it. After two months of expensive updating my computer, doing everything suggested and recommended, much frustration, I still cannot get it to work properly on my computer, and I honestly don't know why. It has had great reviews on the Internet, and as such I feel that my experience with the software must be a rare, isolated experience. I am on the verge of scrapping the software, and chalking it up as one frustrating, expensive nightmare. I just wish that I could figure out why I cannot get it to work properly on my computer. Hopefully you can get it worked out in your favor. You might try giving their tech support a call and chatting with them. I have really been wanting to try it but have so many other apps that do a great job. I'm currently working mostly in Lightroom along with the NIK plug-ins and get good results. If I were to get something else I would probably spend more time figuring out the software then going out to shoot.

It would not cost you anything to give it a try. It is a highly rated editing program, very powerful. Just make sure that your computer meets the requirements to run the program. At this time, I think the problems that I am encountering is my fault, just can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Kelley (Texas)
