I'm new to this and I keep reading about making yourself a test garden, so how do you make one? thanks in advance

First go over an area in all metal mode and clean everything out. Or simply find a clean area to bury targets. Then dig holes at least 12 inches apart. Then at the bottom of your holes shove the target into the side of the hole. This way there is undisturbed soil over your target. Add some water and pack your soil back. Don't forget to mark your targets. I just buried some different coins at around 4 inches deep. This is about the average depth on a lot of coins. I should have and still might make a junk garden with trash items. Then maybe a deep coin garden like 6 to 10 inches. But the one I have now is serving me well.
