Tesors Treasure Mate

I am looking at pinpointers and noticed that the Treasure Mate is made by Tesoro. It comes with a lifetime warranty backed by Tesoro. Since this is the Tesoro forum, are any of you using the Treasure Mate and if so what kind of feed back do you have. I know Tesoro has always made good products, the Treasure Mate has the best warranty of any pinpointer. TB

It is on top of the hand held pinpointer pile, when it comes to depth and sensitivity. I did a comparison test a while back and posted it in a few places, but don't remember where!
The only pinpointer to match the Treasure Mate in sensitivity, was the Falcon Gold probe and it was touchier [would false more easily ] than the TM.
I would say that I can recommend it!

Hi Chuck
I received the Treasure Mate thursday and I took it hunting today, being able to ground balance it is a major plus. The area I was in has minerialization that changes about every ten feet, and the Treasure Mate worked like a champ.
It has a real easy lurning curve, you just adjust the tuning a little as you pump it toward the ground a few times. Its a keeper, and you can't beat the lifetime warranty. TB

I use the VibraProbe, which is a pulse induction pinpointer and there is no need to gb and you can't make it false.
On the other hand, it's not as deep as the T,M,

Chuck I have been eyeballing the vibra Probe and it is something that I want to try in the near furture. Pulse Induction is a must in Arizona, there is gold in these here hill and you have to work for every flake. If its not minerialization its iron debris .
I went to Rich Hill a few times and it is like going on a movie stage of World War One, iron everywhere and you can not take a step with out hitting a hot rock. My Lobo squelled like a pig .
The ground balance on the Treasure Mate comes in real handy and you don't have to balance it everytime you use it. It can also let you know if you are in hot ground. TB
