Tesoros and club hunts

Finally joined up with local detecting club and did a couple of seeded club hunts , they were a lot of fun ! The compadre worked great but I found out I could have used a frequency shift feature because my compadre don't like at Garrett's ESP the at pro,s . That's good neither do I .... Anyway does Tesoro have this feature to change frequency ..... Thought I did see this somewhere.....?

I want to get another Tesoro with the 3x18 cs coil

Did well by the way found lucky penny 1922 British one cent coin , compadre kept up to most other machines. Except for interference from other detectors at pros

The Vaquero and Cibola both have the frequency shift. Match them up with a 5 x 10 DD coil and you'll have yourself one kick butt competition detector.

I use a Conquistador umax in competition hunts, it has the frequency shift and is ideal for this type of hunting. Don't need to sift frequencies too often, but it's there when needed. While no longer in production, they show up from time to time on Ebasy and forum sale sites.

I always felt I could probably outhunt anybody in a competition with my ol GSII...... it's a fast coin shootin sob in shallow ground............ fast easy accurate concentric PP'ing and Tesoros' FAST recovery
