Skiwhiz-we were just waiting for some pics or SOMETHING to show if this is a true query. I AM dumber than a hammer and that's why I joined this great forum and have learned from guys like yourself. I only made ONE or TWO posts about adding my "tab check" switch to my Silver umax and only one or two guys were remotely interested so I dropped mentioning it again. I asked if anyone noticed that trash "breaks up" when the coil is lifted after finding a target, and only a few were interested-so again I dropped it. I think there is a message here, somewhere.

I was doubtful myself, but in the almost 30 years of detecting I find that 99.9% of the people in the hobby are very kind truthful people. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, I figured all along that he was trying to blow his own horn. I am going to do just what the rest of us should do - say nothing & make no replies to the sillyness. Yes I have done a mod. or two myself but usually try to keep it to myself & the ones that I have done have been very simple. Thanks all. Happy Hunting! Steve.

Hey slingshot, hope you didn't confuse me with Chuck, I reponded to a few of his post but I wasn't the one posting all the nonsense. Why I am wondering is because you said "I AM dumber than a hammer and that's why I joined this great forum and have learned from guys like yourself". Wasn't sure if you are serious or are kidding with me. I have a nice little new to me Bandito II uMax that I am using thats doing great for me and having a blast with it. I haven't opened up the faceplate and don't intend to. HH. Steve.

Thank you Elton. Been comming here for along time & have enjoyed reading everyones post. I have learned a great deal of info from all you. I am a dairy farmer and don't have alot of time for hobbies but I detect every chance I can, it is nice to know that if I have a question I can ask it here and someone will give me an honest answer. Compare a Minelab Musketeer Advantage against a Tesoro before you say that. Simple, DEEP discriminating circuit, and rapid speed hunting without loss of depth. Doesn't lose depth by turning up the discriminator. The negatives are the Musky is bit heavier but I do not notice it and not as good all-metal mode as the Tesoros.

The true secret is the design of the coil windings,that's why other company's can't match or figure out how they preform so well,smaller coil windings in the coil make it more sensitive,dissected one.Chucky.

I won't be laughing at a patent pending, I will be shocked.

I don't think it would be a seller. I want the option of a speaker, period. As for the solar panels, problems, problems, problems would abound. So much easier to spend six dollars and put batteries that will last 15 hours or better in and be done with it.

I am tired of reading this bs.

This constant bragging about a new invention; patent pending; interest by a major manufacturer; etc. signals to me some kind of a mental problem. If it were me I would have stopped this nonsense a long time ago.
