TESORO WATER MACHINES NO GOOD ?????

RELIC_HUNTER

New member
Does anyone hunt with a tesoro? Are they not a good machine? It seems that all I see is Minelab,White's and Garrett on the forum...Just curious, that is all.....

Both are good machines with the Sand Shark a PI detector. Alot of folks use the Tiger Shark in fresh water and I've heard great reviews concerning it's sensitivity to gold, but from what I hear it doesn't do well in salt water.

In general, I think people just prefer having one good "universal" water machine than one for fresh and one for salt.

If you look hard enough, you'll find folks who use Tesoro water machines with success.

I use a Tiger Shark in fresh water mostly beach out to knee deep, super unit and sure will find the small gold (ear ring backs) if you want. I like my Garrett Mark II for the disc., as it will find the gold rings with out having to dig a BUNCH of junk. The Mark II is PI, where the Tiger Shark is VLF.

When just playing around on the beach I will also use the whites Beach Hunter, however like the Green machine or Tesoro TS the best.

I have had a Tesoro Sand Shark since last March.I dig a lot of trash items, but have found several nice rings ,both gold and silver with it.It pinpoints very well and goes deep. However, sometime in the future,I would like to buy a Excaliber 100,in order to discriminate out the trash.I bought the Sand Shark new on line, for $543.00.Best of luck.
