Tesoro Vaquero or Mine Lab GT for gold ?

dert

New member
I own both detectors and I'm looking to do a little gold detecting and was wandering witch one would be better and why ? Also looking for any tips . Thanks for the help .

The early GT gold vlf with auto ground balance will eat the Vaquero. Better coil selection with the GT from six inch to 15 inch, you can chase down early coils and new coils are still made that match. The V can be a pain in ass in comparison, with their threshold being a real problem. The GT will run a rock solid threshold and cruise in places where the V will not. It's a typical Tesoro. The GT will hit gold as small as the V will, difference being it will get them in ground that the V wont. GT will go much deeper than a V in mineralized ground.

If it is a GTsovereign you mean, good luck with that slow mental thing in the goldfields.
