I have found someone who wants to sell a used Vaquero in good condition for $200.

1.Is the price okay if it is indeed in good shape?

2.Is this a good machine for a beginner?


3.I want to coin shoot in parks,etc.Will it do the job/

Thats a great price on a killer detector ! You will have a detector you can grow into as your experience level grows without having to upgrade machines. The Vaquero is deep and very sensitive to tiny targets, plus it weighs just over 2 pounds....you can hunt all day and not get tired.
I'd be on that deal like a bum on a sammich if I were you.......:p

$200 would be a steal if in good shape.

Not bad for beginners, although the Silver uMax would be the easiest to learn on if it is your first MD.

The Vaquero is a very easy detector to use. Practice ground balancing it a few times and it takes longer to type this sentence than it does to ground balance the detector.
It is a great detector and it bangs hard on nickels and gold.
 
That is a very good deal on a great detector just as the others have already stated.
The Vaquero is a very versatile machine and with the ground balance adjustment and all metal feature, it can be used in a lot of different conditions.
I have one and if something ever happens to it, I will be ordering another the next day!!
Get it and start making great finds and having fun,
