Tesoro Umax Straight Shaft

Heeluver

New member
Made a staight shaft for Tesoro Silver Umax with weed trimmer handles, broom handle, aluminum rod, and a few bolts. What do you think?

is that a kickstand sticking out the left side? lol.. actually looks pretty good but i bet you added a couple pounds to it at least. have you taken it out hunting yet?

Looks, uhhh INTERESTING!----I do have a question though.--What were you hopeing to accomplish with this conversion?--The Silvers are so light, well balanced & easy to swing already (even with the 8" coil on board.---Let us know how you like it & how it works out under actual hunting conditions.--I've done a couple of straight shaft conversions on another brand but the weight/balance factor was more of a consideration in those cases.--Curious to hear how you like it-hope it works out for you.-------Cheers, Del

Looks great. Check out "modifications forum", "taking the s out of Lobo" I did similar to my Lobo using Tosoro parts.

Well all after all the work I found out that shaft I made was heavier than original Tesoro shaft but it was fun making it:)

Helluver-----Try it out on an actual hunt.--Even though it's a little heavier than the original Tesoro-you may like it.--I admire you for putting it together & shareing it with us.--You had fun doing it and that's what this hobby is supposed to be all about anyway (fun)--right?--------Del

I think its actually pretty cool, nice job adapting a variety of items.. I enjoy doing stuff like that also.
