Tesoro Tigershark Spoked Coil?

Mr Berry and anyone else using the Tigershark...I love my Tigershark, no doubt. But I have repeatedly over the years been puzzled to why Tesoro does not have a spoked coil for this machine. I'm not a metal detecting technology expert(in fact far from it), but is there some technical reason for this coil not being available? I mean most people I know that have and love their Tiger use it either shallow water hunting or while diving. Proper groundbalance I know is critical. I've asked this question before and got answers like "groundbalance at the lakes edge, then walk in" or use the smaller coil(I like the 10.5" coil). But it's a bear groundbalancing underwater especially with the 10.5" coil and with all the water resistance against the coil I have to keep the plastic wingnut cranked down tight to keep the coil from moving up and down alot. It would be so much nicer to have a spoked coil for this water machine! Anyone know why they didn't design it with one in the first place? Thanks...Paul

I wonder if it has to do with the weighting issue...that its easier to weight the brown donut than a spoked, and they already had the brown donut before they came out with the spoked, so why change? I dunno...just trying to use deductive reasoning.

I believe they come standard with a regular 8" coil? And like I said...I definitely prefer the 10.5" coil, but I don't believe that's weighted either. I just get a better groundbalance quicker by moving the coil to the ground's surface more rapidly as opposed to more slowly...and more rapidly is very difficult to do in the water with this type of coil and maintain a level to the ground orientation of the coil. I guess I could install one of those stabilizer/coil lock things, but I've never used one and don't know if it would be practical for my type of hunting(shallow water uneven ground with frequent potholes.
