Tesoro Tigershark adjustments

I have owned this machine for about two months and have had a bad chattering problem. Well today I got alot of it out by turning the sensativity all the way to min. my question is how will this affect the depth of my machine? Any input would be great. Also I enjoy looking at all the post on this site.:rage:

you might as well get use to the chattering. Tesoros, for me, have not worked well in salt water. The setting I use on my Stingray II on wet salt sand/dry sand is, Motion Disc,Fast, with disc set at about 3. I use a small gold ring to set the disc as low as possible. I adjusted the inside sensitivity as high as possible on the wet salt sand, then I have left it alone. Hope this helps. Kieth-Tx

I am using it on rocky fresh water hunting would this make it chatter as well.

Mine will start chattering when the batteries get low, if I'm near High Power lines and I have had the threaded coil connection at the box get a little loose and it chattered. I know this would be a bad time(beginning of summer) Jeremiah, but Tesoro will find and fix the problem for free and they are quick at getting it back to you. The people at Tesoro ate the nicest you will meet. G'luck Kieth-Tx
