Tesoro Tiger shark

New member
HI I'm new to metal detecting and I am trying to get some info on the Tesoro Tiger Shark I'm on
lake Erie in Erie Pa. I have borrowed a Minelab Quattro which worked good on the shore. I have been looking into purchasing a Tigar Shark
for the water I have never seen anybody detecting in the water so I thought it might be a good idea to try of shore I've got the wadders.
Any suggestions are welcome also here in Erie they do bring in new sand for the beaches every year so I don't know if that well effect the shore line at all.
Thanks for any help

Welcome to the forum, I have had the Tiger Shark since the year 2001, never gave me a bit of trouble in all these years. It is sensitive to small gold, and works similar to Tesoro land machines. I only use mine in fresh water lakes, never tried it in salt water, ocean type beaches. I had heard the are not very good in salt water.HH...........Hombre

I like mine - works fine in fresh water and not bad on land, either.
