Tesoro Tiger Shark coil question

I was looking at the Tesoro product catalog and saw that the Tiger is coded as usuing the Delta 4 pin style coils. Why is it that Tesoro use to sell an adapter for the Umax (Epsilon) style coil ? If the Tiger uses the Delta coil, why can't a person use the Delta style coil used on the Tejon,Vaquero,Ciabola, Lobo units? If you use an IP68 4 pin connector..why would'nt it work ?

Or is the Product catalog wrong ?
 
The newer Tiger Shark uses a hard wired coil without a connector. The older model, who knows?
 
The older TS uses the 5 pin,
