Tesoro Tejon

I havent used one of those but the Cibola is a great machine. I have no idea if they are similar in operation or not but if it is better than this little Cibola I want one too...d2

The Tejon is a great machine but a bitty chatty, due to its high frequency, gain, and power. I love the Cibola, and feel it is works pretty good in bad ground, even with the preset ground balance. The Vaquero has manual ground balance, and is great in bad ground. Even though some would disagree, I don't see much more, if any, depth with the Tejon over the V-C. The only real advantage I see with the Tejon is the two discs., which I like because I previously had a Fisher 1266, and the VCO, which allows you to determine the pitch of the audio. Any of those three machines would be a good investment. And the lifetime warranty can't be beaten. Just my opinion.
