THERES A GUY IN MY AREA WITH A TESORO STING RAY FOR SELL.HE JUST HAD EVERYTHING REDONE ON IT AND HAS ALL THE PAPER WORK.ARE THEY GOOD MACHINES AND HOW MUCH WOULD IT BE WORTH? THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS.HH

is it the sting-ray or sting-ray2 ?If ever thing has been done by Tesoro it will fine . If it is the original one make sere the face plate has been changed to dark one not the clear one because they were bad to get stress cracks where they latch. It cost Tesoro about $100.00 to replace them to the original owner but they honored there warranty . I have had two sting-rays one sting-ray 2,three tiger sharks and a ATpro ,I like the original sting-ray the best and use one now, just a matter of preference .But they are getting harder to find one that is in good shape. But if you want to find thin gold chains and rings in fresh water it is the way to go,especially if you can get at a good price .
