Tesoro Silver Sabre air test

Metal Monster

New member
Hey guys, how's it going? I don't get much chance to post here but thought I would share a link of a video I made while air testing a Silver. Winter blues I guess. I recently took ownership of this unit and a White's classic III so no real world test yet. I will also post a link to the White's test as well.

Depth seems pretty respectable. Man I just love the look of that old Sabre. Almost art deco! How do you like the White's Classic?

Interesting. The Whites did quite well. The Tesoro didn't even touch the small gold ring.

The original 'coffin box' Silver Sabre, still one of the all time favourite machines from the 80/90s here in the UK,not many detectors could touch them on trashy roman/saxon sites.Still have a culy following these days as well, the old timers if they still own one wont part with them, not the deepest detector on the block but you wont dig much iron if at all with the original SS and also the SS 11,the latest micro option never caught on in the same way as the early 'coffin box' version.

I really love the older Tesoros also. The classic III actually did quite well better than the Tesoro in an air test but who knows in real dirt.

I love those Whites...there great proformers....go check my post from today on the whites main page....great video BTW thanks for sharing
