Tesoro service

I sent one of my Cibola's to AZ to get fixed. It wouldnt do anything. Come to find out I am a little harsh on it, looking in briars, tree tops and real thick places and I had nicked the insulation next to the coil. I use it for relic hunting. I just got it back today. Has been gone 13 days. Got a nice letter from the folks at Tesoro telling me what they had done to it and what I should do to keep this problem from happening again. I was/am impressed. Less than 2 weeks and I got it back. I hope tommorow is pretty 'cause I am gonna take it out...d2

Good to hear, d-2!

Can I ask what their suggestion was, for briars and brambles tugging at the cable?

Hay D-2,

That's so good to hear. I hope I don't ever have to send one in.

But it's good to know.

I've seen you in action and it's easy to see how casualties could

occure.

A lot of those city MD'ers like me would be beside their selves if

they could the places you get to hunt.

Good thing they made those Brownings to last. They don't have

a life time warranty.

HH,

They told me to put electric tape on the cable and go to the parts store and get some plastic sleeving stuff that goes over electric wires in vehicles. It's ususaly up under the dash. Gonna get some tommorow...d2

Glad you got your detector back so fast! :bouncy: It is good to hear that a company can still make good on repair work and get em back to us in a timely manner! :tesoro:
