I just recieved one today. How's the best way to mount the control box for beach hunting, under elbow or under second shaft. Under arm seems like battery box wont open unless you drop control box.
 
I would suggest you purchase a $5 nylon belt and hip mount it.

If you want to keep it on the shaft, mounting it under your arm will probably work best.
 
Sounds good, How do you mount it to the belt. Do they have a mounting kit you can buy.how would you chest mount it to. Thank's
 
Congrats on the new detector! I hip mount my tiger shark and push it toward the small of my back so it's out of the way, Keep us posted on the goodies you find, tigerhank68
 
The control box mount has a built in notch for a sturdy belt like a wide leather belt. It will chafe you so look at the Tesoro pouch made for your machine. You can hip or chest mount with that. I use a chest mount harness made for active photographers.
