Tesoro Sand Shark

Does anyone know if the Tesoro Sand Shark has experienced similar coil connector problems that the Tiger Shark has had?

Ain't no coil connector problems with the Tiger Shark. The vendor manufacturing them for Tesoro suddenly stopped making them. You can't build the detector without that connector. Tesoro is testing new ones and is trying to get one that passes their quality control tests. May have it by now but didn't a couple of weeks ago. Call and ask. Nice people who will tell you the straight skinny. Jim

Thanks Jim. A dealer had told me he thought the connector problem was causing coil problems. I called Tesoro after your response, they advised the connector was not the problem; the manufacturer of the connectors decided they would no longer supply the connectors to Tesoro.
