Tesoro Sand Shark-Question

Todd S

New member
Heh All,

We just ordered a Sand Shark for my wife. She loves the water, and we have a lot of lakes around here, rivers, etc... My understanding is that it doesn't work the best in salt water but she be pretty good in fresh water. Can someone give us some tips? Also, can it be used on the land?

Thanks

I have a sand shark and it's what I use in the salt water. I've heard that the Tiger Shark has problems working in salt water. They should both work in fresh water. The Sand Shark is a PI machine. It can be used on land, but has no discrimination capabilities. So, you'll dig lots of trash. If you the majority of your hunting will be on land and in fresh water you might be better off with the Tiger Shark. Anyway, the Tesoro lifetime warranty can't be beat. Anyway, good luck hunting.
