I am thinking about getting a water machine that i can use in fresh water. which is the better machine ? I know the SS is a pulse unit and the tiger is a vlf but thats about it. I have heard the tiger is killer on small items. I will only be using it every so often. Or is there a cheaper detector that will be just as good? Thanks for your time

Tiger shark! If you are not diving a AT Pro is a good machine in freshwater and will hit chains very good also.
