Tesoro Sand or Tiger Shark?

New member
I'm looking to get my first water machine and I'd like to stick with Tesoro. I belive the Sand Shark would be better for all the salt water that I would be hunting in, but what is everyone else's opinion. I know they are both out of production right now, and I can only find used Tiger Sharks. I would appreciate and facts and opinions about the two. Thanks
Ben

If your going to be htting the salt water beachs and working wet send alot then the Sandshark would be the ticket because of it's PI circuit but if you are going to be working land with some beach hunts now and then I go with the Tigershark. You really can't go wrong both are great detectors.:super:

Yeah, I've been leaning towards the Sand Shark because it is PI and I plan on diving, or snorkling with it alot. I just can't find one used right now. That must mean something good about them.
