I sent my Cortes in to have the face plate replaced And Rusty calibrated it to the coil again. Came back like new. My first hunt was between sidewalk and street, my favorite. I found a 1968 Mexico Olympics coin the size of a silver dollar. It is 25 Peso and is 0.720 or 72% silver. Can't top Rusty or Tesoro both are excellent. Thanks Rusty and Thank you Tesoro. Cliff

You got that right! Everyone who works at Tesoro is top notch. I heard that they're having to work extra hours to be able to keep up with production demand.

The only way that Tesoro can keep up with even more demand is to expand the manufacturing building and hire additional employees.

More and more people are finding out how well Tesoro detectors work and how much fun they are to use.

there are so many rumors and speculations on these forums by people who know, personable friends of the family, have good word from, etc. who knows what to believe and how do these people know for sure other than the company. and there is no word what so ever from them. but, one thing is for sure. they do take care of their customers and they do have a good detector. other than that, who and what can you really believe anymore.

Very interesting, thanks for posting. Tesoro should have added this info on their web page. The bio I remember reading about RH on the Tesoro page? mentioned he was a School bus driver with some experience detecting in Australia.

After getting my Silver uMax, I called Tesoro to ask a question about matching the frequency on a set headphones for the unit. We must have talked for nearly half an hour, wound up selling me a pair of Calrads that he insisted were the best ones he ever found. When they arrived, he'd sent enough reading material with highlights, that kept me busy for another half hour.

Wish the world had more people like Rusty.

Thank you for your service as well. A lot of people don't understand that our Constitution and freedom would be lost without a strong military to defend it.
