Hooked up with mascard1 ( My good luck charm.) for a hunt a local park in a very well to do area. Mascard was telling me he and a few others were there before and and a lot of silver was pulled out of the ground there with thier deep seeking machines. I cruised around the spots they hunted by some trees and all they left me was pull tabs and nickles. "good" I said to myself, " Those Explorer and Vision users are playing right into my plans. MooHaHaHa......
I was playing first with my Vaquero....good depth and feel. Found a 49 nickle with littler wear to it. But my Bandido was screaming at me from the trunk of my car so I switched detectors and after a few pull tabs and another nickle out in left field I snagged this beauty. It was a nickle-pulltab reading and it's either 14k or 24k, (can't really make out the first digit. ) what a sparkle in that rock. I actually feel I better get this one appraised. Honey has it on right now to show off to her friends tonight. Bet a few of their husbands get detectors for gifts pretty soon. HA!

If it were me, I would be getting a second opinion on that stone! You very seldom see a simulant diamond in a beautiful 14k 6 prong setting like that one!

What can it hurt?

using a 10X jewelers loupe they appeared totally clean of any imperfections.. too good to be true! The (trusted) jeweler I took it too also checked them with his loupe and agreed that "these are too clean to be real" he took out the diamond tester and it said different!
