TESORO OWNERS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

looking to buy a tesoro i like the idea of lifetime guarantee, but my ? is if u buy a used one, does the guarantee transfer to new owner?????
 
No, original owner only. BUT, Tesoro has been known to fix many a machine without asking about the warranty.
 
Hey Piner 5, you fret for naught! If it says "Tesoro" on it,and it is 2nd hand, 3 hand, or whatever, and you haven't obviously abused it, or put a wrench on it yourself, they will fix it, calibrate it or whatever, and most likely won't charge you a dime for it. You pay to ship it to them, and that is it. That is my experience with Tesoro for over 20 years. HH, Charlie
 
I have a bunch of Tesoros, all bought used and so far haven't had to send any in which in itself is a good recommendation. My original thought was, if I bought them right, even if I had to pay some for a repair, I was probably still coming out okay. I have seen a number of posts on several forums where they took care of problems with used machines with no charge. I'm not the least bit reluctant to purchase a used Tesoro as long as it is reasonably clean and doesn't seem abused. My two bits.

I had to send a Conquistador and a Tejon back for minor repairs,( bad switch....cable connector ). I was not the original owner of these detectors. Tesoro repaired both at no charge and paid the return shipping. You will not find another detector company that would do this, and that is why they have so many loyal customers. They make really good detectors and the service is second to none.................HH, Jerry
