I went back to a location that I have not detected for awhile to recheck some curb lines using the 5.75 inch concentric coil on the Outlaw. I found a few clad dimes in places that I know that I've been over several times before with a larger on the Outlaw and with some other detectors.
The 5.75 inch concentric coil on the Outlaw sure is amazing.
Jim (jim tn) drove up and we chatted some. We decided to hunt the other side of the site. Jim popped some wheat pennies right off and I decided to swap out the 5.75 inch concentric coil for the 10.5 inch concentric coil to go deeper for the silver. I hit an open area and got a choppy signal and dug down only about 3 inches and popped a 1943 Mercury Dime. Go figure. It might have been on edge. All my settings can be seen in the picture.
