Tesoro Outlaw makes off with gold, silver and coins!

Nice Going!

Way go Mike! :thumbup:

Yeah, there's gold to be found at those low discrimination settings. You can run the Outlaw's discrimination at its lowest setting and it still discriminates out nails. The 9:00 position looks to be about as high as you need to go when searching for gold jewelry. Heck, it wouldn't hurt to run the Outlaw at its minimum discrimination setting if you're in likely place to find gold jewelry.

Tesoro Rocks!:tesoro::usaflag:

Thanks tabman for the tip - I'll give it a shot later today.

Good snag. I found three pieces of gold this spring but had to dig a ton of junk in the process. It all sounds the same too me.Cant wait for fall and a little rain so I can show off some more finds.

Nice find Mike. I'm interested (as you can probably guess) to hear your impressions of the Outlaw. It really is a pleasure to use, and I get the feeling that if something is there, the Outlaw will find it. I have a couple of other detectors that I could say the same things about, but the Outlaw is so simple to use, and yet continually produces the goods, it is very very difficult not to be impressed. HH Pete.

Hi Pete, One word to describe the Outlaw - Outstanding! Probably one of the best Discrimination circuits I've used. Two years ago, I was a guy who thought if I spent more, I'd find more. Thousands of dollars later, I found Tesoro, and I'll never look back. Excellence in simplicity is how I would describe Tesoro. Minelab, Whites, Garrett, Fisher and others, all make excellent detectors, but so does Tesoro and they don't sacrifice anything at 1/3 the price, and 1/3 the weight.

I just watched your super pinpoint vid with the Outlaw. Thats one thing I wished my Vaq would do. I had another detector that pinpointed the same way and it made pinpointing a lot more accurate. I want an Outlaw now but just cannot justify buying a second detector in 8 months .Too bad they were not available in December or I would have one.

I am new to this Forum so hello all. I have come full circle from the high end machines( have had several), in my opinion too many bells and whistles. I have a Sand Shark and love it. I want to sell my F75 and get an Outlaw which will give me one detector for land and one detector for beach/water, efficient and when you consider the lifetime warranty that Tesoro has what else could I want.

Not a thing, well, actually, I have to caution you, when you get one Tesoro, you gotta have them all! I'm up to 5 and counting!
