Tesoro Lobo vs Tesoro Lobo Supertraq

I believe the major difference is the Lobo has manual ground balance and the Loba Super Trac has automatic ground tracking. Also, I believe the coil connections on the Lobo are not compatible with the coils that will work on the Super.

Lobo .. Manual GB that affected BOTH the All Metal and Discriminate modes.
Lobo ST .. Auto-tracking in the All Metal mode, and factory preset GB in the Discriminate mode.
Added Comments:
They used their own search coil sets and do not share search coils.
Both can be very good general-purpose detectors but tend to excel in the gold nugget hunting category.
I have owned and used both in years past. I liked the Lobo SuperTRAQ, but in the end I preferred the 'original' Lobo with the operator-controlled Ground Balance for each search mode.
