I love this machine, been giving my Compadre and Silver some rest for the past week lol.

Hit a park early this morning not expecting much. I ran the grass on the way to the tot lot finding only trash and a few ruined clad pennies. I was just doing a quick walkthrough in the sand not getting any hits but a few gum wrappers, I was ready to go back to the grass. I did one last sweep at the bootm of a slide and got a solid signal, pro-pointed it quickly and wala, Mens 14k diamond ring!! I decided to slow down and reheck the sand and found about a $1 in clad as well as the mini cooper keychain (24+grams)

Settings were :All metal mode - toggled to 2 1/2 discrimination, threshold @ 11 oclock, sensitivity max, found approx 3" deep

Wow, nice finds. I always wondered about the Lobo for regular detecting.

Nice one deliveryboy,

The Lobo is doing a great job, a friend of mine has one and uses it as a coin & jewelry machine, he absolutely slays them with his.

Nice job. That is what makes detecting fun

I had a LST and sold on a bad move. The LST is highly praised by many top notch detectorist. The vco is awesome.I hip mounted mine.I think you found your detector boy! :super:

Thanks everyone, Im anticipating doing some prospecting in the near future, so I am enjoying learning the machine better I really love searching in the all metal mode then toggling to discrimnate. Hearing the ground is quite interesting, the Lobo is so simple to pinpoint with too I rarely have to use pinpoint toggle, just a few swipes and 99% of targets I can dig right on.

:thumbup:Nice looking ring. Togging is the way to go.I think I found the brother to that ring last year http://www.findmall.com/read.php?79,1696066

You are paying that machine off , Amazing finds

It looks like you're on a roll.

Nice going on the gold and silver!

I bet your Silver

just for kicks I took them to a pawn shop and asked what they would give me on a loan, they offered $95 for the Yellow gold and $110 for the white gold, Im trying to estimate their values without paying an appraiser. I'm guessing they have decent value for a pawn shop to offer $100 since they usually rip you off lol....anyone have any guesses on their values?

Descent pawn shops start a offer around the area of paying you about one third they may sell it for. So take the number they give you and x's by 3.The LST is a cool detector.I would like to get another myself just for the fact of the ability to hip mount.I love just swinging the pole and coil. When i am more comfortable i tend to hunt better and find more.

thanks for that tip spirit i was estimating $500 to $600 new obviously new prices are inflated, but hey about $600 in value not bad.
