Chances are if you're reading this then you have a preference for the orginal Lobo with its higher freq (20kHz) and manual GB (can run HOT). I've had both the Lobo and a Lobo ST and there are some other advantages to the original such as thicker coil cable and a more nicely finished shaft (that's what she said?). Many prefer this design because they can run a high threshold and hot GB to pick up very small or deep targets. The newer SuperTRAQ has auto ground balance / tracking of course...
