:tesoro:FIRST INVENTER OF SOLOR POWERD METAL DETECTOR?

Tesoro has light model detectors to the point that the top surface of coil can be utilized for the new class of super durable solar panels, combined with the new battery technology(thanks to the electric r/c model airplane industry)that charging a good quality rechargable such as nmh 9v would be no problem as long as you don't hunt at night, just think of the suns intensity on the beach, gold fields, school ground etc..the battery is receiving voltage while in operation or leaned against truck, it is constantly charging, well the race is on which innovative detector company will be first?oh ya know how everyone just loves a large coil, what a charge on that size panel.Chuck of Charleston,SC

You keep coming up with some weird ideas. A solar powered detector? I do a lot of hunting in the woods where there is no sunlight, I also know a lot a night hunters, just go down South, night hunters abound. Searchcoils are heavy. They may seem light but that is what the arm rest is for on most detectors. You hold the detector near the box and the armrest supports that weight at the end of the shaft. Again, I want some good alkaline batteries for my detectors and could not imagine anyone wanting a solar powered detector. I want to keep the searchcoil as light as possible.

What a beautiful Tesoro coil you have there son,ya love the round solar panel on top keeps batt at peak volts, while i am detecting, with the trickle charge coming out of the new light weight round panal&coil, son isan't that how them calculators work now, think so dad.Chuck.

Weird ideas is how new things are developed,i am sure henry ford, eddison, bell, enstein, were told, thats a weird idea at one time in there lives.Chuck

Hay Jhettel are you the only one that is curious?got all the lights on in the bedroom.Doing a air test on my new solar powerd VQ.Mounted panals received from BPsolar,Mounted across four large inside holes 10x12 W/S,Charge wire coming up shaft, she's charging even in the bedroom, can't wait to take this hi-tec weed eater out tomarrow for some landscaping work. You think i broke my lifetime warranty?.Chuck of Charleston,SC.

Also took that stupied speaker out last night!,stayed up all night for that one,cut them contaminate holes out with a dremal tool, mounted small light weight piece plastic with 4 9v leds white, blue, green, red, sealed, good glue.Instead of speaker tone,i got lights, love it!, love doing batt check, and air test, she lights up lights up like a christmas tree!!,oh when i was done and sealed good, put in the shower for a minuite, passed with flying coulors, get it!wow!!!,can hunt in the rain with this new solar powererd Vaquero,i think i really did break my warranty now!!,any suggestions,on my SPVQ,Chuck.:surprised:

I am not curious at all. As for you warranty I think Tesoro will probably honor it. However, I wouldn't keep this talk up on this forum because Tesoro also monitors this forum and that could cause you problems with your warranty. Maybe if you did some of these alterations in secret and then contacted Tesoro they may listen to you, but if you tell the World and then ask them to fix your detector you may be in a bind. I have talked to the Giffords and know the tech, they will bend over backwards to help you.

Ahhh...Now you're pulling our legs! Good one chuck.

Yes, but at least their ideas and inventions had real knowledge and understanding behind them.

I'm now officially observing "passover" on Chuckie's grade school ramblings.

Apologies to the grade-schoolers...

Thanks every one for your input, looks like i got a winner here,it is going to be produced, fist to the gold line of detectors,do to more power needs, and the availability of free energy received to the detector at all times while in operation, such as gold hunting in dessert,do i need further explaining,i will give the engineers web address,i am just the inventer, not the design and construction person.$$$$$$$$$.Chucky.

Hey Chucky - is $$$$$$$$ all you are after? Evidently so. More power to you son, hopefully that $$$$$$$ will keep you warm at night.
