tesoro eldorado discrim HELP

Hi all, HELP needed please, I bought a used Tesoro Eldorado u max (plastic box) from staffs metal detectors uk but not knowing to me it has the E180 discrim circuit in the box which is no use whatsoever in my neck of the woods this side of the pond due to the amount of iron on my sites, I understand the ED-120 would and does suit better for the uk and was wondering if it is possible to change to the ED-120 on my Eldorado or would I have to get rid and buy another with the ED-120 circuit? is it possible to modify the elderado discrim down to ED-120? plus what Tesoro,s run with ED-120 discrim. thanks in advance Andy. ps photos attached

No mods are needed or available to make your Eldorado

Andy Congrats on buying the eldorado from kev at staffs metal detectors i had my eye on it but by the time i had finished umming and rring !!! you had snapped it up

Hi Broadmaster, the detector is going back to Kevin mate and he,s exchanged it for a very nice Bandido for me, should arrive Tuesday, I spoke to Dave at Pentechnics today and he said the discrim was playing up by the sounds of it but admitted the the Eldorado never sold well over here because the discrim ED-180 was too much for our conditions, has for the first reply from Hombre, I had to raise the discrim to pull tabs plus to knock out nails and when I knocked out nails I lost Hammered and some small Vicky silvers so obviously theres a problem with the unit, cheers Andy, ps Kevins a top bloke mate and ive dealt with him for years,

Hi andy i run a tesoro compadre for my iron infested areas here in the uk ,that runs the Ed-180 discrimination circuit and set a tad over iron the hammies still bang through.The laser trident and tesoro tejon also run the ED-180 system and seem to be fairly popular in the uk.
