Tesoro discriminators

On the newer models, are the discriminators basically all the same? I know the compadre has more a full range but the Silver/Golden/Cortes/Deleon/Vaquero/Cibola........they all have the small iron bias at 0 disc? Do they all top out at the same point also?

Your referring to ED 180, the Tejon and the Lobo also has the ED180 discrimination, there may also be others I'm not sure.

I don't know if any of them are exactly the same.
According to reports the Outlaw can disc out a dime and that is unusual for Tesoros.
My Vaquero is supposed to be 180 ED but in reality it is not.
More like 160-170 Ed because some iron is still disced out with the knob all the way down in disc, only all metal will pick up those lower end iron targets.
The Compadre is a true 180 ED and will pick up everything in all metal, and even though the Vaq is pretty razor sharp when thumbing the disc knob and figuring out targets, my 7" coil Compadre is actually a bit better and even sharper and more precise.

I was wondering how many variations there are on the newer models. Yesterday I bought a Deleon and was wondering where the disc starts and stops on that.
Ive owned quite a few Tesoros and both of you guys are right, seems theres several variations on the disc points.
