Tesoro detector on oak island

I caught the last couple of episodes of "the curse of oak island" and they were using either a Tesoro tiger shark or a sand shark water detector on the season finale. It was in a swamp so I'm thinking fresh water. I am assuming it was a tiger shark. I normally do not watch any of the stupid detector shows but this is more treasure hunting than anything.

I have not seen episode 5, but in episode 4 that one guy was using a CTX,

I seen that. I thought it was a 1280 Fisher. I know from the logo's on their shirts it looked like kellyco. They used a PI with a data logger. But apparently theres some issues and with the data and the handheld, nothing is there when retrieval comes into play. Ghost signals.That was really odd.

the coin they found is bs no way that coin was that close to the top of the water if that coin had ben in the swamp that long it would be very very deep deeper than the roots on the plants i say bs

I thought the same thing about the coin. The first guy had a minelab ctx and acted like he was reading signals a foot or more down but the diver definitely had a Tesoro. It had a shark logo on it and also a gold colored shaft like my tiger shark and blue headphones. I just do not know if the sand shark is the same color as the tiger shark.

I met the diver last fall and he has a tiger shark . Our local CBC TV supper time news had a story about the TV show and they were treating the show like a joke and even one of the main characters was making fun of the whole show and the likelihood of ever finding treasure on oak island.
We have only had 3 shows aired here in Canada so far.

It was interesting to watch 2 millionaires looking for gold. I don't think they'll ever find anything. Wonder how much the History channel paid them to film and do the segments. At least they'll get some of their money back.

Something tells me there won't be another season. The treasure shows that end at a climax generally do not come back for another season.
