Tesoro DeLeon

Question about the DeLeon: Is this detector with the 9x8 concentric search coil a good combination for searching for coins and jewelry on the beaches, dry and wet sand?

I am about to make my mind up on this detector or a Makro Racer, which is supposed to be wonderful on beaches. But I like very much what I have read about the DeLeon and
the the information from you tube videos. It seems like a simple machine to operate but with great results. I like the DeLeon also because of the visuals, compared to none on
the others.

Any help will be appreciated.

I haven't used either, but I think you'll be happier with the Racer. DeLeon isn't intended as a beach detector, especially not for wet, salty beaches.

Id say between those two I would go with the Racer for beach hunting.

Thanks guys. I ordered the Racer, and bought an extra coil, the 5"x4.5". Will be shipped today.

By beaches, if you mean salt water beaches, both of them are going to disappoint you. Hopefully you meant fresh water.:)
